Crispy BBQ Chicken Pizza Snack Wedge

Alexander said: "Yes! You can eat pizza, eat healthy. And you don't have to feel inward for this. I always give you pizza at my Super Bowl party and when I invite my girlfriend to a TV night. I Of friends are always carnival and swear they will never be low in fat. This recipe is especially useful for kids! "

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole wheat flour, 96% fat-free tortilla (8 inches in diameter)
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (7 grams carbohydrate or less per 2 tablespoons)
  • 1⁄2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Cabot cheese 75% light cheddar
  • 2⁄3 cup (3 ounces) chopped roasted chicken breast
  • 1⁄4 cup chopped red onion
  • 11⁄2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves

preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 ° F.
  2. Place tortillas on a small, non-stick baking sheet. Bake on each side for 4 to 5 minutes, or until crispy. If air bubbles form, poke the air bubbles with a fork and squeeze them out with a spatula or oven gloves.
  3. Remove the paper from the oven. Spread tortillas and sauce, cheese, chicken, onion and parsley evenly.
  4. Bake for 2 to 4 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted. Cut into 8 wedges. Cast now.

Alexander's tip: Don't try to make a pizza "skin" with low-carb tortillas, it's crucial. It smokes and burns without becoming brittle. Most barbecue sauces are high in sugar and carbohydrates. I always look for a carbohydrate that contains 7 grams or less per serving. Although you can use a "low carb" barbecue sauce, I didn't find a barbecue sauce that I like, so I chose a lower carb content than a "low carb" barbecue sauce.
